Why is Roi shutting down?

Roi has been acquired by OpenAI. As part of the acquisition, we will be shutting down the Roi app and suspending service on October 15th.

Will the app still work?

Yes, Roi will remain available until October 15, 2025. After that date, the app will no longer be accessible.

Will I get a refund?

If you purchased a subscription through Stripe, no action is needed on your end. We’ll automatically refund for any unused portion of your subscription on October 15. If you purchased through Apple, you’ll need to request a refund here.

What will happen to my data?

You’ll be able to download your financial data before October 15. After the shutdown, all remaining data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. If you’d like to download your data, please log in to the app and follow the instructions

Will OpenAI have access to any of my data?

No, they will not have access to any data. It will all be deleted as part of our shut down process.

Can I still start a new subscription?

No. We have stopped accepting new subscriptions as part of our wind-down process.

What happens if I forget to download my data before October 15?

Unfortunately, after October 15 you will no longer be able to access your data. We recommend downloading it as soon as possible.

Do you have recommendations for other apps to replace Roi?

We want to make sure you’re left in good hands, so we will have a couple recommendations for you.

We think Monarch is the best option for tracking, budgeting and financial planning all in one. We’ve also made it simple to switch: you can import your Roi data straight into their app, so your account history and insights move with you seamlessly. As a bonus, Roi users get 50% off the first year if you sign up using this link.

We know many of you are big fans of copy trading, which makes Autopilot a must-have. Invest in portfolios from Nancy Pelosi, Michael Burry and other top investors in just a tap.The best part? As the portfolios you follow change, Autopilot automatically buys and sells for you, so you’re always in sync without lifting a finger.

We’re friends with the teams behind both and think they’ve built great products to move you forward on your financial journey.
